Introduction “A note is a note in any language.” –Louis Armstrong, Jazz Ambassador The Hip Hop Ambassadors’ mission is to nurture diversity and encourage mutual understanding by fostering international artistic collaborations and exchanges between young people and to present American artists as cultural ambassadors, as a path to promote peace.  In addition, by providing opportunities to urban American youth to travel the world, Hip Hop Ambassadors (HHA) fosters the development of life‐changing skills to successfully collaborate across cultural divides.   Hip Hop Ambassadors is presented in partnership with The Remarkable Current Musician Collective, an independent record label that has set new standards for contemporary urban music for over a decade. Founded in 2001, Remarkable Current is an American artist collective consisting of musicians, writers, and producers who are bonded not only by their love for music and art but also by their shared desire to use their talents to share a message of universal peace and unity with the globe. In the last decade, the collective has grown from a group of friends in a basement to a nationwide collaboration of artists and activists who share the same goal: to creatively shape the contemporary Urban-American identity and share it with the world community. Remarkable Current delivers tour de force performances with the mission to excel, to uplift and to inspire. Founded and directed by Anas Canon, Remarkable Current (RC) has toured the world, performing from the Americas to Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Canon, whose expertise and command of audio production, sound engineering, and DJ'ing are recognized and requested worldwide, has worked with hundreds of gifted artists and released over 12 full-length albums that span close to a decade (with 3 new releases slated over the next 6 months). Remarkable Current’s musical styles reflect the multi-faceted backgrounds of the artists. While the main focus of the music is Hip Hop, the artists are also influenced by Rock, Jazz, Funk, and traditional World Music. RC is a passionate, modern fusion of styles that represents the blend that is Urban-American musical culture today.
